Role: Financial Services – Technical Solutions Architect - AVP/VP
Location: London - Hybrid - likely 2-3 days in the office per week
Contract Duration: 6-month contract is likely, inside IR35 through an umbrella company
Starting: ASAP
This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations at the beginning of a large-scale, complex programme for one of our premier Banking clients. This role is to support a Financial Crime Target Operating Model programme.
Overall purpose of the role:
We are seeking a Technical Solutions Architect who has Solutions Architecture experience across Application/Infra/Data Architecture.
The work will focus on mapping existing landscape Architecture towards an end state Architecture along with any potential transitional states in between. Road Map development with as much future proofing as possible and aligned to the Architecture Design Principles.
The role will work with the Screening Platform Architect, Design team and relevant Ops and Compliance Stakeholders to achieve the above. Interaction with CTO at and Enterprise Level, will also be required for oversight and support.

Key Skills / Attributes:
- Strong design documentation skills and experience of latest design tooling
- Hands-on technologist with evidence of Full Stack Architecture Design
- Experienced working in a ‘Big Data’ environment solving problems relating to the handling of large data-sets
- Experience of Data Quality and Data Control frameworks
- Knowledge of Fin Crime systems a strong advantage but not essential
- Cloud Certified – AWS Preferable.
- SaaS and PaaS knowledge and evidence of successful integration with “On-Prem” technologies.
- System and Data Security Protocols
