Associate – Data Consultant

Day rate – £650 - £700 to start September 24

BeyondFS is a specialist management consultancy working with financial institutions to design and deliver world-class client onboarding and client lifecycle management functions. Our Associates work with us on a contract basis alongside our permanent team, and we are always interested to add to our Associate network. We are particularly looking for an Associate with the following skillset;

  • 3 – 5 yrs experience working as a data analyst, or in an equivalent data role
  • Experience extracting and manipulating large data sets to assist in answering questions posed by project and business stakeholders
  • Ability to ‘tell the story’ in relation to the data set, explaining how information was derived and presenting this to the business.
  • Experience working alongside source data teams to ensure they have an understanding of the key data elements required in to ensure accurate reporting and population management
  • Proven experience using Tableau/Alteryx/SQL/Excel
  • Experience in defining and implementing governance and reporting; ensuring regular progress reporting management against milestones and developing contingency plans
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams (legal, compliance, control functions) to solve practical business challenges with a proactive and solutions oriented mindset.
  • Desirable to have worked with corporate and natural person client population data sets
  • Desirable to have experience reporting on population of items for ‘remediation’ initiatives

You must be able to evidence;

  • 5+ years prior experience as a consultant within a recognised management consultancy firm. A deep understanding of how to deliver and/or lead consultancy engagements is absolutely essential.
  • Strong Data skills, with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude. The ability to work effectively within mixed BeyondFS and client teams.
  • In-depth understanding of the financial crime prevention domain, including regulatory requirements and financial crime prevention operating models including policy, process, and technology
  • Track record of managing senior stakeholders and demonstrating ability to tailor communications
  • A professional, high quality and highly organised approach with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work on-site with clients as appropriate, predominantly in London but with the ability to travel to Europe if needed for specific workshops and meetings. You will also spend some time working from home.
