This Project Manager will provide project management support on programmes across the Place and Levelling Up Directorate in 24/25. They will work closely with the Place Directorate team and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure interfaces and dependencies between systems and projects are managed effectively.As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:Providing project management support for the Launch Pad programme and wider Directorate activities working with the Programme Manager & other relevant delivery teams to support delivery of key milestones and objectives.Project managing the delivery of clear, concise & well-formatted governance papers and management reports & dashboards, ensuring necessary content is sourced & documented accurately.Using PMO systems to track & review timelines, finance, risks & benefits to generate and update management information and reports as required to support effective governance.Supporting the monitoring, evaluation & benefits realisation across programmes, ensuring benefits are identified.Supporting stakeholder management throughout the project.Ensuring effective change management processes are in place to document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.You 'll have:Demonstrable Project Management experience, supporting public sector projects, with involvement in a range of activities such as; funding delivery, communications, innovation programme delivery, etc. Experience of creating management reports & governance papers for a range of internal & external stakeholders.Advanced Excel & Word skills, with extensive knowledge & experience.Excellent written & verbal communication skills.Expert stakeholder management skills.
