Data Architect

UST are currently recruiting for a contract Data Architect who will be responsible for leading the definition, design and delivery of data products and solutions on the Data Office platform.

Location West Midlands

6 Month inside IR35 Contract

What you be doing;

• Ensuring all solution designs meet agreed business requirements, align with platform strategy, are cost effective, deliverable and supportable.
• Working closely with technology and engineering partners and with internal teams to deliver platform capabilities, allowing us to maximize the value of our data.
• Shape the platform roadmap, developing the architectural patterns, frameworks, and components.

Required Experience

• A broad and balanced understanding of IT capabilities, methods, and technologies
• In-depth experience of the design and development of IT solutions
• Experience of influencing senior stakeholders on the solutions for proposed initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and the Data Engineering needs to fulfil Business Intelligence and Analytics Solutions
• Data Project delivery experience in the cloud (Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake, Lakehouse)
• Capability and willingness to get hands on and lead a development activity.
