**The Role**
As a Data Architect at Technology Consulting Services, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data architectures that support our clients' complex data needs. Your work will involve close collaboration with clients to understand their data requirements being recommending and support the development of suitable solutions.
Initially, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect with a strong focus on Master Data Management (MDM) and Entity-Relationship (ER) modelling to support one of our key clients in the advertising sector. **Key Responsibilities**
*Data Architecture Development*
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures suitable for enterprise-level applications.
- Ensure that the data architecture aligns with business requirements and supports the long-term goals of the organization.
*Client Engagement*
- Engage with stakeholders across various levels to understand their data needs, challenges, and goals.
- Present complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that they understand the data architecture and its benefits.
*Data Modelling and Integration*
- Perform Entity-Relationship (ER) modelling to create clear and effective data models that represent business processes.
- Oversee data mapping, integration, and transformation processes to ensure data consistency and quality across systems.
*Database Optimization and Management*
- Ensure the optimization, integrity, security, and privacy of databases.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure that databases can scale to meet future needs.
*Project Leadership*
- Lead data management projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure project success.
*Training and Support*
- Provide training and support to team members on new database technologies, data modelling tools, and best practices.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in Data Architecture, with a strong emphasis on ER modelling and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain scalable data architectures for enterprise-level applications.
**Skills:**
- Strong client engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in database management software and data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity.
