Role Overview:
As the Global Maintenance Analytics Manager, you will lead the Management Information and Data Analytics Program for bp pulse Operations Excellence. You'll provide the analytics toolset and data science capability to develop insights from our EV charging network data and drive business improvement recommendations.
The role involves leading the analytics toolset and data science capability to derive insights from the bp pulse EV charging network data, facilitating business improvement recommendations, and contributing to achieving the target of 100,000 EV units by 2030.
What you will do:
- Play a key role in achieving the target of 100,000 EV units by 2030.
- Work with and interpret large volumes of data on reliability and performance to support critical business decisions.
- Own the data and analytics value chain for operations, maintenance, reliability, and project controls dashboards.
- Provide real-time access to performance data to support the organization’s ability to use insights from data.
- Lead the delivery of operations, maintenance, and reliability analytics and ensure execution across regions.
- Support standardized performance management across regions.
- Ensure business and operational requirements are clearly defined and met through collaborative work with maintenance and reliability functions.
- Define consistent business metrics and promote their adoption.
- Be a member of the Operations Excellence leadership team, supporting and developing reliability-driven projects and services.
- Promote knowledge sharing and standardization using central infrastructure.
- Actively network with regional operations leads to promote performance analysis and reliability initiatives.
- Contribute to the EV Operations and Maintenance strategy, defining and implementing optimal solutions in each region.
- Own the global roadmap for business-critical solutions, tools, and technologies to drive improvements and efficiencies.
What you will have:
- Experience analyzing data to produce well-structured, defendable insights and making business recommendations.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy).
- Capable of operating at all levels of the organization with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify data gaps and communicate requirements to the data team.
- Experience working across operating functions (e.g., operations, engineering, maintenance & reliability, logistics).
- Strong assertiveness, influencing, and communication skills.
- Understanding of business decision-making processes and setting priorities.
- Beneficial but not essential: Understanding of EV charging infrastructure.
- The ability to work with incomplete data and derive conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership.
