Contract Description
Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced Website Developer to update and enhance our existing travel agency website. The primary focus of this project will be to integrate a 3rd party API live feed hotel booking engine into the website. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure a seamless integration that aligns with our brand and improves the overall user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Website Update: Review and update the current website to improve functionality, user experience, and overall design.
- API Integration: Integrate a 3rd party hotel booking engine API into the website, ensuring real-time data feed and smooth user experience.
- Testing & Optimization: Conduct thorough testing to ensure all new features are working correctly across all devices and browsers. Optimize the website for speed and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure the website complies with industry standards for security, especially in handling payment and personal information.
- Ongoing Support: Provide support for any issues that may arise post-launch and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in website development, particularly in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with API integration, particularly with travel-related platforms.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on travel agency websites or similar projects.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
