We are seeking a skilled Software Developer Engineer In Test (SDET/ Mobile Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Mobile QE you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile test strategy and release management, coupled with a deep understanding of native frameworks. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications from the outset.

You will work closely with developers and engineers to drive improvements in code quality through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:
The need for a strong QE to conduct automation and manual testing, and various challenges and priorities related to testing.

• The team is developing a native iOS and Android mobile application with search and booking functionality of dynamic website.
• They are looking for a strong QE to write automation code and conduct manual testing.
• Must have experience with regression, end to end, UI, accessibility testing,
• Challenges include setting up accessibility identifiers, running UI tests on large scale, and limitations of simulators vs. real devices. Deliver, write automation code, conduct manual testing,
• Test mobile applications on both native iOS and Android automation platforms using XCUITest and Espresso.
• The candidate has experience with Espresso and XCTest, as well as WCAG accessibility testing.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Modify developer code when necessary to enhance testability and address issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers to drive improvements in code quality.
• Lead a team of Quality Engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10+ years of technical experience in Testing
• Minimum 5+ years of mobile app Automation experience with tools like Android Espresso, iOS Xcuitest, Monkey Talk, Selendriod, Appium, Katalon etc.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with native frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).
• Proven experience in test automation for mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with modern mobile development technologies and practices.
• Ability to modify and review developer code to facilitate testing.

Mobile Testing Experience: (Must have)

• iOS and Android Testing: Experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. Familiarity with tools like XCUITest for iOS and Espresso for Android.
• Modern Mobile Development Technologies: Knowledge of modern mobile development technologies, including Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Understanding of the mobile development lifecycle and how testing integrates into it.
