We are currently looking for a Senior Security Researcher to join one of our key clients. You will be part of their Global Cybersecurity Research and Offensive Security (CROS) function leading the charge in cybersecurity research and offensive security. As part of this rapidly evolving field, your expertise will be critical in identifying vulnerabilities, simulating real-world attacks, and innovating approaches to enhance the security posture of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and deliver security research projects across a wide range of technologies to ensure the organization is well-prepared against advanced cyber attack scenarios.
  • Perform hands-on security research on software and hardware technology vital to the businesses services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions that improve the delivery of CROS services.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and automation processes to enhance security assessment.
  • Provide a specialist approach to assessing the security of systems and technology, identifying previously unknown vulnerabilities and new attack techniques.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in vulnerability identification and exploitation.
  • Participation in the Cyber Security industry.
  • Experience in network security, Embedded systems, hardware hacking, and mobile technologies.
  • Understanding of common operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Google Android, and iOS.
  • Demonstrated experience in third-party vulnerability disclosure, software development, and source code review.
  • Proficiency in tooling, automation, prototyping, and penetration testing.
  • Experience in Black Box software security review techniques, including 'fuzzing' and reverse engineering.
  • Education to degree level or relevant work experience.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
