We are dedicated to helping our clients navigate complex regulatory environments and maintain operational integrity. We are currently seeking an experienced Operational Resilience and Exit Planning Specialist for a contract role, where you will be instrumental in supporting a large fintech client in developing and implementing exit plans that are fully compliant with UK operational resilience regulations and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Exit Strategy Development: Collaborate with the fintech’s internal teams to design and implement comprehensive exit plans for critical third-party service providers, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all exit planning activities meet or exceed the requirements set forth by UK operational resilience regulations and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
• Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments related to third-party service providers, identifying potential vulnerabilities and advising on mitigation strategies.
• Testing and Validation: Lead the testing and validation of the fintech’s exit plans to ensure they are practical, robust, and aligned with regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the fintech’s senior management, regulatory bodies, and third-party providers to facilitate a smooth and compliant exit process.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of all exit planning processes and provide regular reports to the fintech’s management and relevant regulators.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Significant experience in operational resilience and exit planning, particularly within the financial services or fintech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and UK operational resilience regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement exit strategies for critical ICT services.
• Excellent risk management and business continuity planning skills.
• Strong project management experience, with the ability to handle complex, multi-faceted projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of working with a wide range of stakeholders.
