About the Role:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Billigence, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure that supports our automotive client's data and analytics needs. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments, and work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Architect, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to support data engineering and analytics workloads.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations, enhance system performance, and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure the cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and best practices for security and data protection. Implement security controls, monitor compliance, and perform regular security assessments.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide cloud infrastructure solutions that meet their needs.
- Set up monitoring tools to track system performance, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting to maintain high availability and reliability of cloud services.
- Document infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and best practices. Provide training and support to internal teams on cloud infrastructure management
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintenance such as updating EKS engine and (re)deploying.
- Develop, test, and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using Terraform.
- Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Creating and maintaining Helm charts for application deployment and configuration management.
- Implementing Kubernetes best practices for resource allocation, scaling, and management.
- Ensuring infrastructure changes are reviewed, tested, and deployed in a controlled and automated manner.
- Implementing and enforcing security best practices across all layers of the IT infrastructure.
- Conducting or initiating regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
What You'll Need:
- Stong Knowledge of troubleshooting a cloud environment using tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Cloud monitoring skills including, but not limited to, CloudWatch Insights, Alarms, Security Hub, Trusted Advisor, and Cost management..
- Experience with AWS Cloud Management, including developing and enforcing Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies for user and role-based access control.
- Experience with Utilizing Key Management Service (KMS) for managing cryptographic keys and ensuring data encryption at rest and in transit.
- Implementing and managing SSL/TLS certificates using AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) for secure communications.
- Working knowledge of ETL processes using AWS Glue for data integration and transformation.
- Understanding of Collibra for data governance.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional level preferred.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
