About Schroders

We're a global investment manager. We help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future.

We have around 6,000 people on six continents. And we've been around for over 200 years, but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn't change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper.

The base

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team

You will join a high performing reporting team within the Global Finance. We work closely with other areas of the wider finance community including Group Management Reporting (GMR), Financial Planning and Analysis (‘FP&A'), Operational reporting and Wealth reporting teams as we deliver a substantial suite of reporting for some of the most senior members of staff. This role will take the lead on developing the non-financial risk and issues report for the Portfolio Optimisation and Resourcing team.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a well-rounded and inquisitive Senior BI Developer to join our Finance Reporting Centre of Excellence. You will work within our established reporting team to support both the delivery of high standard, professional quality reporting to drive business insight and efficiencies; and to support the maintenance and enhancement of our growing catalogue.

Finance has invested heavily in our cutting-edge data and analytics platform to support the business' rapidly evolving demand for insights and analytics, now and in the future, and our reporting team leverages many of these new resources. We have delivered well received revenue, cost, people and AUM reporting to over 1,500 employees to date. Reporting to the Delivery Lead, you will work on the development of non-financials pertaining to our Portfolio and Planning app. We envisage this app to be a one stop shop for everything to do with project planning. We have best-practice standards for reporting, reporting architecture, development, testing and deployment. Working to maintain these standards with both research and documentation of processes will be a critical part of your role.
