Contract Description

Full Stack Automation Engineer (Hybrid work)

Automation for a Service-Based Business

We're looking for a talented developer for a project-based position (estimated duration 2 - 3 months , could take longer.).

You'll have the opportunity to build and implement a custom application for our legalisation business.

Your responsibilities will include developing systems for new client-facing features and internal tools. Tasks will range from building APIs and optimising database queries to working on machine learning infrastructure and improving web crawling reliability. You’ll tackle challenges like preparing customer-ready data, and categorising unstructured data.

About the Project

We need a custom application to automate tasks, streamline workflows to fuel our business growth. Right now, emails, spreadsheets, and a patchwork of tools keep us juggling enquiries, orders, and vendors.

The main issues:

  • Manual work: We waste hours on repetitive tasks like answering enquiries, generating invoices, chasing orders, adding info to Google sheets etc
  • Information silos: Data lives scattered across various tools, making it hard to get a holistic view of the business.
  • Limited scalability: Our current system can't handle our growth ambitions. We need a CRM that can scale with us.

What we are after:

  • Automation: We need a developer who's not just a coding wizard, but also a creative problem solver. You'll help us automate workflows, eliminate manual tasks, and boost efficiency.
  • Integration expert: You'll seamlessly integrate our existing tools (WooCommerce, HelpWise, QuickBooks, etc.) into one application or platform, creating a unified data hub.
  • Custom CRM/application: We're open to building a custom solution around existing software to speed up development and save costs. Can you make it happen?

What you'll build:

  • Lead capture and management system
  • Automated quote generation and order processing
  • Real-time order tracking and partner communication
  • Streamlined invoice creation and payment management
  • Comprehensive client data management and reporting

Bonus Points:

  • Expertise in API integrations and data transfer
  • A passion for building beautiful and user-friendly UIs

Our top priority is finding a developer who can leverage their experience and expertise to propose the most efficient and cost-effective solution for our needs. We value your ability to:

  • Assess our existing tools and workflows: You'll analyse our current setup and identify opportunities for integration and automation, maximising the value of our existing investments.
  • Recommend and implement best practices: You'll bring your knowledge of industry-standard CRM solutions and suggest tailored features and functionalities that address our specific pain points.
  • Think creatively and solve problems: We're not just looking for someone to code what we tell you. We want a partner who can think outside the box, propose innovative solutions, and anticipate and address future challenges.

By prioritising developer experience and solution-oriented thinking, we aim to build a robust and scalable CRM that empowers our business growth.

We encourage you to apply if you're a developer who thrives on finding ingenious solutions and building impactful systems.
