Financial Benefits Analyst - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 6 Months & possible extension.

Contracting Authority: Bank of England

Location: Hybrid – 40% p/week at Threadneedle Street, London.

This is an important role within the Transforming Data Collection Programme reporting to the TDC Programme Business Case and Benefits Realisation Lead.

 

As a Financial Benefits Analyst your main responsibilities will be

  • Working with the business areas to identify the potential measurable non-financial & financial benefits and new operating costs that will arise as a result of the implementation of the deliverables of the RDC Programme & its projects / workstreams.
  • Providing robust financial management of benefits & dis-benefits in the TDC Programme Business Case.
  • Supporting the Business Case & Benefits Realisation Lead in the development of the updated Business Case for the next stages of the TDC Programme and other programmes / projects across the Data & Analytics Division.
  • Facilitating workshops & meetings to baseline current costs, forecast future benefits and review if those costs and benefits are realised.
  • Identifying Business Management information (MI) & Data that can be used to baseline and track benefits realisation.
  • Creating & maintaining key Benefits Management artefacts – inc: Benefits Maps, Benefits Calculation Models, Benefits & Operating Cost Profiles, Tracking Models & Realisation Plans.

Active, valid SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these clearance checks.

You’ll have:

  • Demonstrable Business & Benefits Analysis experience within financial / banking industries.
  • Excellent financial & non-financial analysis skills.
  • MS Excel skills & ability.
  • Strong facilitation skills – supporting the business to define non-financial & financial assumptions.
  • Proven experience of working with & managing business stakeholders.
  • A relevant Accounting qualification or equivalent experience – displaying financial modelling, financial analysis & value-based management experience – desirable.
