Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: Hybrid, need to travel to office once or twice a week to the office in either in London or Edinburgh

  • Support voice DC migrations activities – configurations & troubleshooting & documentations.
  • Translate requirements into voice services deployment deliverables.
  • Support BAU telephony functions in existing offices and work with L2/L1 teams to co-ordinate MAC work.
  • Proven experience of design, delivery, and transformation of IPT/UC environments.
  • Work with colleagues in other technology and business groups to understand technical and business requirements
  • Create/update new deployment documentation.
  • Able to work with various technical teams to co-ordinate new voice hardware deployments.
  • Following change management process for production migration.
  • Create and run test case for voice service pre/post deployment.
  • Able to work weekends during voice migration changes, occasionally available for US or APAC time zones to cover planned works.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Basic networking knowledge, IP subnetting, routing, troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of CUBE, Voce Gateways & Cisco CUCM config & troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting skills and understanding of telephony/UC protocols, SIP, T38, TLS and Codecs
  • Experience working with Oracle SBC or good understanding of SBC principles.
  • General telecom knowledge - SIP PSTN/Fax service.
  • Prior experience in financial institution processes will be preferred.
  • Teams direct routing integration & Genesys pure cloud experience will be preferred.
  • Nice engage recording system knowledge will be a bonus.
  • 5 years’ experience in the Voice & Collaboration field across multi-vendor technology using SIP & ISDN/Pri trunks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal guidance and thinking outside the box a must.
  • Proactive and forward thinking to identify and manage incidents/work orders.
