Emagine Consulting – Investment Banking

£550 - £600 per day (inside IR35)

London – Onsite 2 days a week

Overview:

We are seeking a Delivery Manager/ Project Manager to join our consultancy firm, leading a critical transformation project within the financial services sector focused on Avaloq implementation and subsequent deposit migration. This role will be pivotal in managing the adoption of Avaloq's SaaS solution and upgrading banking systems. Experience with Avaloq or similar SaaS solutions will be highly beneficial. You will collaborate closely with Agile pods, ensuring efficient project delivery while maintaining alignment with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Avaloq implementation and deposit migration projects, focusing on timely execution, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Implement Agile methodologies effectively within the project team, conducting daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and burn-down sessions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and migration processes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Drive communication and reporting on project status, issues, and dependencies to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, adhering to organizational standards.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role in complex transformation projects within Investment banking.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), with experience leading Agile pods through sprint cycles, burn-downs, and retrospectives.
  • Experience with Avaloq or similar SaaS solutions is highly desired.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
