Role: TM Data Manager – Transaction Monitoring (VP)

Location: Hybrid - Glasgow 2 days a week onsite/remote

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months (inside IR35/Umbrella Company)

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic large-scale operation in the banking industry.

A TM data management role responsible for the delivery of data outcomes required for the Transaction Monitoring deliveries on the project and transformation of end-to-end AML processes.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Undertake business analysis to assess needs, capture requirements and define solutions that will maximise the value delivered to stakeholders across portfolio of strategic data initiatives as allocated
  • Responsible for adherence to group mandated Data Quality Standard, capturing and managing data issues within defined framework
  • Definition of requirements and specifications for proposed data remediation efforts in order to meet regulatory commitments, risk controls and business objectives
  • Build effective partnerships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement
  • Lead and facilitate Forums/Working Groups to define business requirements
  • Most work closely with the Data Architect, Data Dictionary Leads within the Data workstream to achieve the collective Programme milestones

  • Self-starter, takes ownership of tasks and is able to monitor/report progress and deliver to completion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to host and/or lead presentations and discussions at managerial levels (Director/MD level)

Experience & Skills Required

  • Must be a Financial Crime SME, with particular focus within Intelligence, Investigations and Exits.
  • Must be able to capture business requirements and translate into technical requirements, switching between roles in order to reach common visionary goals.
  • Experience in banking applications and infrastructure
  • Exposure to data integration design strategies both for internal and external customer usage
  • Business/Data analysis and storytelling methods to present complex data issues in a simple and engaging manner
  • Passion for and commitment to ensure data quality; meticulous attention to detail
