We are currently recruiting for a HR Data Analyst with experience in the financial services domain to join our dynamic HR team.


Location: London

Work model: Hybrid

Type: Fixed term employee/ Contract Inside IR35


Role Overview:
The HR Data Specialist to join our client’s HR Systems, Projects, Data and Reporting team in London on a hyrbid model. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR information systems, reporting and data analytics. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the data integrity and accuracy within our Position Management platform to enable the business to make strategic decisions as to how they manage their budgets vs current people spend.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and manage HR data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • AnalySe HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic HR decisions.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights to HR leaders and business managers.
  • Identify opportunities for improving HR processes and systems based on data analysis.
  • Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Ensure HR data is managed in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining data security and confidentiality.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data analytics or HR are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • Have prior experience of data/people analytics using a variety of tools
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong understanding of HR metrics
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security regulations (GDPR) and experience in ensuring compliance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HR analytics tools and software
  • Strong skills in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with HR statistical analysis and data visualisation techniques.
