Position Title: Freelance Email Marketing/CRM (Gambling Manager)

Duration: Contract / Freelance

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced email marketing and CRM pro to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UK gambling industry, with a strong focus on building and managing customer databases. The candidate must also be well-versed in UK gambling regulations, as well as privacy and data laws. This role involves ideating and implementing a points-based incentivisation scheme for members and setting up the customer communications for that scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Database Management:

- Build and manage a comprehensive customer database.

- Ensure data integrity and regular updates of the customer database.

- Segment the customer base for targeted marketing campaigns.

2. UK Gambling Regulation Compliance:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK gambling regulations.

- Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant gambling laws and regulations.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.

3. Privacy and Data Law Compliance:

- Ensure all customer data management practices comply with UK privacy and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).

- Implement best practices for data security and privacy.

- Train staff on data protection policies and procedures.

4. Points-Based Incentivisation Scheme:

- Ideate and design a points-based incentivisation scheme for members.

- Develop a strategy to engage and retain customers through the incentivisation scheme.

- Analyse and report on the performance of the scheme.

5. Customer Communications:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the incentivisation scheme.

- Create engaging content for customer communications, including emails, SMS, and social media.

- Monitor and optimize communication channels for maximum engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Proven experience in the UK gambling industry.

- Extensive knowledge of UK gambling regulations and compliance requirements.

- In-depth understanding of UK privacy and data laws (e.g., GDPR).

- Strong experience in building and managing customer databases.

- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing points-based incentivisation schemes.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience with email marketing platforms.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.

- Familiarity with customer loyalty programs.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: From £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
