Job Title: Test Manager - HRIS Integration (Consultant)

Location: Hybrid working (c.2/3 days per week in London)

Duration: 5 months initial contract

Rate: Up to £650 per day (outside IR35)

Start date: ASAP

Role:

Supporting one of our key customers in London, you will be joining our energised and focussed project delivery team who are leading the delivery of a HR system implementation within the legal industry.

You will have experience of defining, developing, implementing and managing suitable test strategies applicable to a proof of value project of work, as well as managing the testing at all phases including liaising with internal the internal HR community and the business user teams (for UAT). This role requires project management skills and the ability to establish themselves quickly in a dynamic team.

Accountabilities of the Test & Integration Manager include:

  • Lead on the full end-to-end test management process, including test strategy definition, configuration, integration and UAT phases
  • Work in parallel with the Project Management and internal teams to plan, execute and jointly report progress
  • Provide leadership for testing in the development and execution of the project Test Approach and creation of the Test Strategy
  • Support the development of test plans and assist in defining and agreeing the test scope for the required systems and services
  • Guide the teams involved in the testing to assure appropriate governance and controls are employed in achieving the required levels of risk mitigation
  • Progress reporting against plan in the agreed reporting formats
  • Ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with external and internal customers.
  • Ensure that systems are tested to agreed standards for functional, non-functional service quality and systems operational requirements
  • Ownership and management of the project defect management process, across multi-discipline, internal and external teams, for defect remediation through to closure.
  • Support the creation of project artefacts and ensure testing needs are considered
  • Provide deployment and post go-live support as required

The successful Test & Integration Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • Test management experience working with enterprise level HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle etc. Including follow-on integrations (ie financial, MI and reporting, benefits, recruitment, LMS)
  • Extensive experience of test management across the full life cycle involving internally developed and vendor managed solutions
  • Ability to build test teams and drive testing activities proactively, managing risk and assuring the quality of the delivery for all dev/test life cycles such as Waterfall, Iterative, Agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Integration testing (E2E) and testing methodologies
  • Ability to coordinate test execution across multiple teams/sites
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role within a test management consultancy would be advantageous
  • ISEB/ISTQB qualified to Test Manager Level
  • Experience of Managing Technical Test Teams and Operational Acceptance Testing
  • Experience working within the legal or professional servies sectors would be a bonus
