Role Description

This is a remote or hybrid contract role for a mid-level iOS Developer, allowing flexibility in your work location. As an iOS engineer at Moshi you will join a cross-functional team of engineers and designers. This is a contract role for 6 months, but potentially longer.


What you’ll be involved in:


  • Improving and maintaining our core iOS app
  • Writing clean and readable code while documenting the development process
  • Ensuring good unit test coverage
  • Keep our code style consistent and making our code review process easier using SwiftLint
  • Working closely with product, design and other engineers to execute the design as closely as possible while advising on Apple design guidelines, specifics or limitations
  • Actively participating in the whole development life cycle, including sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and daily scrum meetings.


What you’ll bring to Moshi:


  • At least 2 Years experience developing apps
  • Solid understanding of OO patterns, Swift fundamentals and best practices
  • Good expertise in Swift v4, v5
  • A passion for technology, learning new skills and techniques and sharing your experience with others
  • Experience collaborating on projects and working efficiently as part of a team
  • Proven experience building responsive apps that interact with a range of RESTful services.
  • Experience integrating StoreKit (our main focus is subscriptions) or other payment providers (Stripe, Braintree,..)
