Digital Project Manager - Inside IR35

Contract Term: Initial 3 months

Contracting Authority: UKRI

Location: Remote – occasional attendance to Swindon office

As a Digital Project Manager your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Building a UKRI Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAAs) award monitoring/reporting platform using CitizenSpace in time for July reporting.
  • Develop guidance for universities IAA award holders for reporting using CitizenSpace
  • Provide analytic capability to analyse and report on the IAA monitoring/reporting data at UKRI level.
  • Coordinate and project manage the running of a cross council IAA reporting and potential future call for application.
  • Helping to develop, project manage and deliver a UKRI Proof of Concept funding scheme as recommended in the independent review on university spinouts.
  • Support the Director of Research Commercialisation with the knowledge assets strategy.
  • To support the development of papers and provide secretariat for meetings required.

 

 

You’ll have relevant experience in:

 

  • Experience of providing project management support for public sector projects
  • Experience of working in a complex multi-organisation environment with varying cultures
  • Experience of delivering projects
  • Experience of monitoring risks and managing risk escalation processes
  • Experience of creating papers and minutes
  • Experience of creating reports for a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of achieving results through influencing skills rather than direct control
  • Experience of successfully managing multiple stakeholders with conflicting demands and priorities
  • Experience delivering business critical projects with high visibility
  • Experience of managing change within projects and programs

 

Desirable

  • Experience of using CitizenSpace to create a reporting platform for external stakeholders.
  • Experience of benefits management approaches, and an understanding of the processes and tools which can support benefits management monitoring and reporting
