Contract Description

The Role

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security projects related to Microsoft products and services.
  • Define project objectives, scope and deliverables in alignment with Microsoft's security goals and priorities.
  • Develop project plans, schedules and resource allocations to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-team collaboration and communication to address security concerns and implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft's security policies, standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE 2 certification.
  • Extensive experience in project management, with a focus on security projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, services and security technologies (e.g., Azure, Office 365, Microsoft 365 Security).
  • Experience in implementing security solutions and best practices within Microsoft environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Understanding of Cyber Security frameworks, standards and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, CIS, GDPR) is a plus.
