Lead Service Designer (Contract Inside IR35 - £450 per day)

We are in search of an experienced Lead Service Designer to work on a key client long-term project

Remote/Office Work: You'll be required to work at the client offices in the City or at Synechron's offices in the City for three days per week

The Lead Designer will:

  • Lead a wide variety of research including user interviews, co-creation, journey mapping, usability and concept tests and surveys, ensuring that actionable results are delivered and shared
  • Lead market research and gap analysis from user perspective
  • Map the service experiences of users and defining how organisations need to change what and how they deliver so it's more effective
  • Define framework for multiple blueprint types based on depth and business needs
  • Lead user testing session from prototypes
  • Be critical during the design process of the balance of power in service structures and challenging how people can be empowered and supported to thrive

The Lead Designer will be required to possess the following skills, experience and competencies:

  • At least 5 years of relevant UX or Service Design experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience leading qualitative and quantitative UX research in a product design environment across the Design Thinking stages
  • Experience leading and conducting generative and evaluative user researc
  • Experience in Service design blueprints and journey maps
  • Ability to lead workshops relating to UX Research both in-person & remote
  • Familiarity with research tools eg UserZoom, UserTesting.com, Dovetail, EnjoyHQ, QualtricsFigma/Miro or similar UX software
