Systems Analyst - Inside IR35

Contract Term: Until 8th April 2024

Location: Remote

  • To support the Senior Specialist (Systems and Procedures) in the development and management of systems and procedures that support the delivery of housing programmes through their whole lifecycle from new programme development through competition, shortlisting, due diligence and contracting to post-contract monitoring.
  • Manage the process relating to change requests and error reporting to ensure systems are fit for purpose.
  • Develop system guidance, testing and training plans to ensure staff are able to use systems effectively.
  • To identify risks and issues which impact on delivery and proactively create potential solutions to manage these risks and issues.
  • Liaise with colleagues in Digital throughout the system development process, including arrangement of lessons learned sessions to share knowledge across HCA-I, IT and others where appropriate.
  • To use expertise to develop processes and procedures and support colleagues by sharing good practice.
  • To work with business and corporate teams to deliver solutions to business requirements through analysis and the conversion in technical requirement specifications for delivery by Digital and external suppliers.
  • To develop and maintain effective working relationships with Digital and external suppliers and relevant colleagues.
  • To deliver any other duties which are commensurate with the post.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience in analysing business needs and converting these into technical requirement specifications, preferably in the housing or financial sector.
  • Experience in working with in-house Digital departments and/or managing external suppliers.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with technical and non-specialist colleagues.
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience, with relevant professional qualification such as ITIL.
