An exciting opportunity for a Senior QA Engineer to join us and play a key role in our our global digital migration programme


We are on the lookout for a talented Senior QA Engineer to join our expanding team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. While manual testing is a primary focus, we also leverage automated testing. This role demands someone who has minimum 10+ years of experience in various industry domains working in both Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall methodologies. And has a full understanding and experience of the SDLC & TDLC.

Unfortunately, there is no visa sponsorship for this role and the role is based in Manchester with minimum two days in the office. International travel may be required. 


  • Conduct quality assurance testing of new products and software versions before release in an Agile/Hybrid model.
  • Investigate fault reports, reproduce issues, identify bugs, and thoroughly document them in our defect-tracking system.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases using Azure Test plans or Zephyr.
  • Working in Azure DevOps and Jira.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using low code automation tools.
  • Have experience of writing User Stories.
  • Liaise with internal teams (developers, product owners) to identify requirements.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance our testing methodology and improve the efficiency and quality of our QA processes.
  • Coaching & mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Must be flexible to take on additional duties when required.


  • Ten plus years in various industries in QA/Testing areas.
  • Agile SCRUM/Hybrid SDLC.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Methodical approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong computing skills and an aptitude for learning advanced software.
  • Technical & analytical skills, including the ability to understand and reason about complex applications and systems.
  • Persuasive communication skills in both verbal and written English.
  • Excellent time management, including the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently under guidance.
  • Working with 3rd Parties (on-offshore) and UAT Co-ordination.
  • Certifications in Agile, Prince 2 and ISTQB.
  • A strong team player with a pragmatic approach
