Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Systems Test Engineer to be based at our customer's office in Melksham . Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery. The Role: To work as part of the test department, the Test Engineer (Systems) is responsible for the delivery and execution of Formal Type Testing of Top Level Products and the reporting of test ensuring the guidelines set out by the Standards and Quality Process Engineer are being followed. This includes but is not limited to; the upkeep, design and manufacture of pneumatic test rigs, test set ups and test fixtures, identifying equipment needed and ensuring the quality of the test. The engineer is responsible for compiling Test Reports and communicating the results to the Test Manger. Area of Responsibility ● Responsible for sustaining equipment ● Responsible for the physical calibration of Items ● Responsible for Equipment Lists and BOMS ● Carry out System Tests ● Environmental Test ● Shock and Vibration ● EMC ● Test Set Ups ● Test Reporting ● Test automation ● Data acquisition ● Understanding and ability to draw Schematics ● Follow Drawings ● Capable in Lab View ● Ability to Follow Drawings Knowledge / Experience Understanding of Railway standards ● EN50155 ● EN50121 ● EN61373 If you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on and want to join a global company, then this is the place for you.
